We see that computer generated imagery is increasingly replacing traditional panoramas. Those renderings formerly exclusively ordered during the conceptional phase of a new infrastructure investment offer visitors - tourists as well as natives - orientation.
The computer generated representation of the tourist destinations, skiing areas or just one route of walking are high realistic, true-to-life maps and therefore extremely readable - easy to navigate even for not trained guests.
Digital Terrain Models:
We are utilizing highly detailed elevation data derived from airborne laser scanners, drones or taken by our terrestrial laser scanner. After those point clouds are meshed we start to layer procedural as well as photographed imagery on top of the digital elevation models.
