Character Design & Modeling

For the second part of the iTree application - Almajuri’s world - we came up with the idea of our hero character called Almajuri.


To piece this lovely but hard-bitten old fellow together, we transformed the design sketches (based on Robert Briksi's beautiful concept arts) into a detailed 3D sculpture.

Rigging & Animation

We then rigged the 3D model for character animation. And because the first animations had to be done relatively quickly we decided to do the movements based on motion capture data.


Toni Knittel from Bluatschink did the dubbing voice. There is also a song in advance - so be prepared!
