Virtual reality, 360 video and augmented reality have exploded onto the scene over the last 12 months. The technology used to create and view virtual worlds has improved significantly. Cameras are smaller with higher resolutions and image processing software more efficient.

YouTube now supports 360 video and there’s a plethora of virtual reality headsets on the market, from Google Cardboard, Samsung Gear VR, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and Sony’s Project Morpheus. Coupled with new smartphones featuring larger, higher resolution screens with faster refresh rates, VR technology has reached a point where immersive virtual reality experiences are more accessible than ever.

Roomscale-VR provides a computer-generated 3D environment that surrounds a user and responds to that individual’s actions in a natural way, usually through immersive head-mounted displays and head- & body-tracking.
