Kruunuvuorenranta

The City of Helsinki organized a design competition called "Lights over Kruunuvuorenranta" for obtaining the best ideas of how to provide artistic lighting for this new suburb. This completion is part of the program "World Design Capital Helsinki 2012" that is intended to boost the development of the city with the aid of design. The objective of this competition was to create visually, ecologically and technically sophisticated lighting that makes Kruunuvuorenranta to a unique piece of light art clearly visible from the city centre across the water.

Bartenbach LichtLabor qualified out of over 50 entries in the pre-selection process of this international competition together with three other teams from Great Britain, the Netherlands and France. In the final round the Austrians gained the contract for the entire lighting design of the wBartenbachestern coast seen from Helsink.

Victory!

With a sustainable lighting concept the lighting designers at Bartenbach LichtLabor won first prize at the international design competition "Lights over Kruunuvuorenranta" and once again demonstrate their ability as a major player for designing efficient and intelligent lighting solutions.

We were introduced to promote the lighting concept by the Bartenbach LichtLabor-designers.
Due to the tight deadlines and the immense requirements we hat to extend our inhouse cg-department. We teamed up with our long-term partners at Wildruf. Once again the cooperation was striking success.
At this place we just wanna thank all the team for the pleasant as well as successful cooperation. It was a great experience.

An animation lasting about 2-3 minutes to present the principles of the solution utilising the three-dimensional model of Helsinki. The animation had to show particular views.
